In High School, for my final senior business project, I came up with Collat, a third party sneaker selling service with a buying and selling process that lowers fees for the buyer and seller, while keeping both sides safe from fraud and deception. How it works is that seller put up collateral for each sale, acting as insurance to secure the buyer. Because of this, the sold item will not have to be sent to the company for verification, and the item can immediately be shipped directly to the buyer. This results in significantly reduced waiting times and no processing fees compared to competitors such as Stock-X and GOAT.
